    Where to find flashlog.tx in Windows 7

    Hello,
    I can't find this file in Windows 7, this is like it isn't generated by the flash debug player.

    I am keen to know whether the Flash Tracer works in Windows 7 and if it does then I too would like to know where I can find the txt file once it has been installed.

    Hello PNE. I found a solution here http://blog.kevin-bouhadana.com/flas...sous-windows7/
    It's in french, so bassically, you just have to create the file mm.cfg at c:\users\YourUserName\mm.cfg and past into this file the following content :
    Code:
    TraceOutPutFileName = c:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\Logs\flashlog.txt
    ErrorReportingEnable = 0
    TraceOutputFileEnable = 1
    MaxWarnings = 100
    Then open the preference of Flash Tracer and specify the outputfile
    C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\Logs\flashlog.txt

    if you can't find flashlog.txt after that, go on any website which contain flash content, I think it will generate the flashlog.

    Hi Nidaime

    Sorry for the lateness of my reply but thanks very much for your answer. I will give it a go.

    Please could you advise which Flash Debugger I need to install on Window 7. I have gone to the Adobe site to get the download but not sure which one I need.

    http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

    I have downloaded this one - Download the Windows Flash Player 10 Plugin content debugger (for Netscape-compatible browsers) (EXE, 2.09 MB) - Is this correct one as I can't see Flash Debugger in FF when I launch it.

    Please could you advise me how to get this setup.

    Thanks
