so seriously has anything happened with this? I am very anxious as I love drupal and i love flash and if i could merry the two of them, i would be a very very happy man.

I've been using Drupal with a Flash front end for the last few projects and it works great. Scott Nelson deserves a huge pat on the back. It's so easy to customize Drupal and use it as a CMS for Flash sites.

You'll need to install Drupal 5.1 and these two modules:
